Purpose of the job
Purpose of the job
- ensure overall integrity and accuracy of management accounts
- ensure timely submission of financial reports and ensure compliance with accounting standards
- monitor closely all KPI’s– profit, receivables, bank borrowings, inventory
- monitor construction projects and ensure timely completion
- monitor cash positions and working capital funding
- ensure all statutory and tax obligations are paid on time
- evaluate and appraise new projects and business proposals
Management Reporting
- To manage performance against the budget
- Providing detailed monthly performance statements and analysis
- Investigation of variances and recommending remedial measures where necessary
- Coordinate the preparation of monthly commentaries and investigate inconsistent and/or major variances
- Coordination of budget preparation
- Preparation of performance against strategy, milestones achieved for management discussion
- Evaluate projects for viability in coordination with senior leadership to approval.
