Duties and Responsibilities
- Ensuring a uniform debt collection strategy in line with the society’s policies to avoid reputation risk or legal challenges by following strict policies and procedures.
- Managing and executing the Sacco recovery and debt collection efforts.
- Monitor and rehabilitating delinquent accounts.
- Coordinate daily execution of debt follow up.
- Drafting and issuing appropriated notices to members requiring clearing of loans arrears.
- Managing issuance of all required statutory notices prior to engaging recovery action.
- Represent the Sacco in court in matters of debt dispute
- Work closely with debt collection agencies to maximize recoveries.
- Oversee disposal of recovered assets
- Negotiating and restructuring facilities where such action increases chances of recovery of the debt.
